Men starts to go bald in their middle age
Not a lot of people know that's not true. Balding, in its various forms can affect quite literally anyone: women, men, teens.
The kind of balding hair that is most common in men is called androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness).
Usually, men with MPB start to lose hair at the temples and the crown, leaving only a little bit of hair around the back and the sides.
However, it isn’t only middle-aged men that have MPB – that’s just another myth. Some people begin going bald as early as their early twenties.
Wearing a a ball-cap can lead to hair loss.
Why do you think this is true? Wearing a ball-cap (etc.) can damage your hair a little bit, but there is no way it can affect the follicles. More than likely, this is another myth.
Bald people prefer to wear hats because they are self-conscious about their balding hair.
Furthermore you could see more bald men wearing hats. Therefore, people think that hats cause baldness.
If you cut your hair short it grows back thicker and faster
Usually, shorter hair looks like it is growing back thicker because follicles are conical in shape: thick at the base and becomes narrower towards the tip.
Also your hair grows at a similar rate, no matter how often you shave it, usually around just over a centimetre each month
